Goodbyes
Last night was tough. We all had to say our goodbyes to Chris. The kids had a hard time with it, as did Chris and I. I think Zach had the toughest time of all. Today has been hard for me as well. Most of the day I've been ok, but every once in a while I get really sad thinking of the fact that'll it'll be 6 months until we see him again.
We love you and will miss you very much, babe. We'll be thinking of you often.
Good Friends
Ft. Buenaventura
Over Easter weekend we went to a Mountain Man Rendezvous in Ogden, Utah. It's the same one we've been going to since I was a kid and it's always been over Easter weekend. Fort Buenaventura. It's always a lot of fun. They even have an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter morning! The kids love it.
Here's our awesome tipi.

Limo Ride!
Thanks to all who helped Haylee with her cookie dough fundraiser. By selling $600 worth of dough, she was in the top three sellers of her entire school! Because of this, she got to go on a limo ride to lunch yesterday with about 25 other students from her school. And tomorrow she gets to "make-over" her principal with the other 2 top-sellers. Thanks again everyone for helping her achieve this!
Way to go, Haylee!!!

A Day at the Beach
I long for the beach and San Diego. Chris and I went to San Diego over the last weekend for his brother, Jesse's, engagement party. It was nice to relax without kids and go see the tourist spots that we didn't normally frequent when we lived there. Getting off the plane in San Diego felt awesome. You could immediately feel the humidity and smell the salt from the ocean. I LOVED IT! And driving from the airport to our hotel was beautiful. Everything was so green and colorful. All the native plants were in full bloom. It made me sad to think that I took it all for granted when I lived there and that the people who can afford to stay there, probably do the same.
In case you can't tell...I'm so home-sick for San Diego.
