Family Christmas Eve Get Together

This year we had our family get together at James's house instead of at Maddy's. Here are all the adults doing a gift exchange. Fun!

The kids had their gift exchange earlier (no pictures) and are now opening presents from Grandma Maddy. They all got a cute animal beanie and some gloves.

This year at our family party a different Santa came.

He read the kids stories and talked to them about Christmas.

Coco upset about something . . . lol. And since Zach didn't want anything to do with Santa this year this is the only picture he ended up in.

I thought for sure Coco would be upset when we put her on Santa's lap, but she did just fine. If anything, she seemed confused at the funny looking man.

Elf on the Shelf

This December 1st an Elf paid us a visit from the North Pole. We named him Hershey. The story book that he showed up with tells us that he watches the kids all day to make sure they're behaving and then at night he returns to the North Pole to report their behavior to Santa. The day he arrived he brought a Delicious North Pole breakfast and some fun toys for the kids!

Most of the days he got into mischief or brought the kids fun things. Silly elf.

More of Little Miss Coco

Coco finally started to crawl on her hands and knees, rather than sniper crawl, at 10 1/2 months old. She also started crawling up the stairs which forced us to put a gate up at the bottom. Here she is thinking that she's going to scale it. Silly girl.
