Our 11th Anniversary Trip to San Diego

While we were going to be in San Diego, Dani and Chantelle were going to be in Utah. The only way we were going to be able to see each other was to pull off onto the side of the freeway while they were headed north and we were headed south. So that's what we did. And we got to spend a wonderful 30 minutes visiting! Here's me and my adoarble niece Olivia.

I just thought these pictures of Coco were just too funny and cute not to post.
Taking a walk along the cliffs of La Jolla.
Visiting Grandma Mimi.

My favorite beach, Torrey Pines. I love San Diego. It'll always be my home.
First time putting Coco's feet in the ocean.
She was upset for a split second and then was completely fine.
She seemed to be very soothed by the ocean waves while we were there.

Just some pictures I love

This is my cute baby girl at 2 1/2 months old.
She absolutely adores her big sissy, Haylee.
Konked out during General Conference. I, on the other hand, found it inspiring!
The love of my life and companion for eternity. I adore you, babe!

St. Patty's Day 2012

Now that I've taken care of a few missed posts for 2011 we can move back on to 2012.

For St. Patrick's Day every year the kids like to make a leprachaun trap. And every year a lepreachaun leaves them gold, but never seems to get caught.
I found a cute idea at a local little store with clues leading to a prize.
Of course the kids loved it!
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY ! ! !

Our 10th Anniversary Trip

For our 10th Anniversary (April 2011) Chris and I decided to take a trip down to Southern Utah. First we stopped in Green River and stayed the night at Robbers Roost Motel. The town has pretty much nothing to offer. lol
The next morning we drove further south to check out Goblin Valley. I went there as a teenager and have been dying to go back. It was just as cool as I remember.
After Goblin Valley we went to check out a slot canyon . . . Little Wild Horse Canyon. It's about a 9.4 mile loop, so we just hiked a little ways in to check it out. Wow, slot canyons are amazing and seem a little freaky at times. Wouldn't want to be stuck in one during a rain storm!
Our backpacking destination . . . Mule Canyon. We backpacked about 4 miles in until we found a good spot to make camp . . . under this rock.
The reason I chose this destination was for the Anasazi Indian Ruins. They didn't disappoint. It was amazing that these people built and lived on steep rock and ledges.
Incredible.
The next day we left for Moab. We stayed at the Sunflower Hill Luxury Inn. It was a really nice and cute place.
Day four of our trip we headed back home. But on the way there we stopped at Arches National Park to see the sites. It really is amazing the things created by nature and it's elements.
An awesome trip. I really can't wait to go back ! ! !

Random from 2011

I came across some pictures in a folder on my computer from 2011.
For whatever reason they never got posted last year so I'll do it now.

Chris took Zach snowboarding for the first time on his 9th birthday.
Zach loved it and was a natural!
Zach and his friends playing in the open field behind our house.
Lauren losing teeth left and right.  =)
