Yesterday morning we went down near Utah Lake to take our family pictures for this year's Christmas cards. I always take them myself using a tripod and timer. Last year's didn't turn out too good so this year I was determined to make them work. We took quite a few. Here's one that I thought turned out cute. As not to spoil the surprise when Christmas cards come, though, I chose to post one that we're not using for the cards!

Scout Camp
Jordan and Chris went on a scout campout to Diamond Fork this last Friday. They got to hike up to the hot springs and take a dip. They had a lot of fun. I'm glad they were able to go together this time, since I didn't have to work. I had Heather and the kids over that night to hang out and eats lots of junk food. The kids played downstairs (mostly anyway) and me and Heather played games and the Wii!

Christmas?
I woke up this morning and thinking "It feels like Christmas". I looked out the window 10 mintues later and realized it had snowed...a LOT! And it was still snowing. I took the girls outside to play (not immediately!). That lasted about 10 minutes. Elizabeth was crying as soon as I decided to put snow boots on her. And Lauren broke down sobbing after Sadie ruined her snowball.
By the time the other kids got home from school, the snow was pretty much gone. Bummer for them. =)Posted by jessica rabbit at 3:46 PM 2 comments

Court of Honor
Last night Jordan was advanced to 2nd Class at his 11-year-old Scout Court of Honor. Here he is with his AWESOME scout leader, David Alvarez.
The girl's were at home with a babysitter. They'll go out next time!
