They closed the diner as of yesterday (Thursday). I guess it was just WAY too crazy for the little place to handle. They're gonna open back up Monday with the hours of 10am-9pm. They'll be making some changes over the weekend to better handle the amount of people we're getting in there. Who would have thought it would be so popular???

I was just searching for a phone number for Spanky's to see if they are open/have food, etc today. I found your blog. We live in Cedar Hills and have been waiting for weeks for it to open. We finally found out it opened and then it was closed. Then we heard it was open again and then it had no food. We're giving it another shot tonight and hopefully they will be open. I don't think they realised how much people love a good burger and a new place to eat in AF. Chilis and Applebees get old after a while. JCW is amazing but sometimes you need a break. My teenage son and his friends were so excited about Spankys. They were going to make it their regular "hang out" place as soon as it opened and claim it for AFHS. :) Hopefully they will get things going soon! It's rare to have a good place to eat on this side of State Street--and this close to Cedar Hills. We promise to be good tippers! The Clements
Thanks for your post! We're open now...for good! =) I think the hours are 10am-10pm...or somewhere there abouts. Hope to see you in there sometime. I work Tuesday and Friday nights so maybe I'll see you guys around. Make sure you say something if you do see me! & Enjoy your food!!!
